Restoring the Rouge Valley
Today, we spent the morning helping to restore the Rouge Valley with help from students from Fleming PS and Bendale Jr PS. Thanks for making the Rouge Valley a great place for animals and plants to live, and for us to visit.
When Air Meets Water(colour paint)
A fun and educational way to learn about water, air and the effects of combining the two.
A Pine Cone, Wood and Rock Compass
Hassan, a grade 3 student from Agnes MacPhail created this great piece of art. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that in fact it was a compass with the Cardinal Points, and he even had North facing in the correct direction. Hassan, tell us how you knew where north is without any map or other compass!
Our New Door
Our new door, designed by Shannon Bennett our intern, reminds everyone of the planet we share. Thanks Shannon, for the beautiful artwork, and the wonderful place we all call home.
A Clean and Tidy Shed
We love our new shed. Look at how tidy it keeps our firewood. (Here’s hoping it stays this way for some time!)
