A Cozy Gift from St. Margaret’s Church

Our friends at St. Margaret’s Church have generously donated some beautifully hand knit hats and mittens to Hillside! They will be made available to any students who may get chilly during their visit with us. Attached was a note that read:

“Dear Ms. Shannon,

These hats/mitts/scarves are provided by St. Maragert in-the-Pines Anglican Church. They are made by our Caring Hands Ministry and we say prayers over them as they are made, then they are blessed at the Altar by our Priest. The Rev. Karen Hatch. We ask that you please distribute them to children who come to school not dressed appropriately for the weather.”
